Frequently Asked Questions

Does Save the Titanic run indoors?
Yes. It runs in a ballroom, a meeting room, or any space where teams can sit at tables and move around. Nothing happens outside, so weather never cancels your day. More indoor team building games.
How long does the experience take?
The standard experience runs three and a half hours. A four-hour version gives teams longer in the first act before the midpoint debrief. A full-day version doubles both acts and expands the final debrief to an hour.
How many people can take part?
Six per team works best, and five to seven works well. We never go past eight, because the energy drops. You add people by adding teams, and we add a coach for every three teams, so the experience feels the same for a group of twenty and a group of a hundred.
Can it run virtually?
Yes. It runs live in the room, fully virtual on Zoom, Teams, or WebEx, or hybrid with some teams together and some at home. Breakout rooms replace the tables and a digital kit replaces the printed one. Everything else is the same.
What do participants actually walk out with?
Your people sit in the driver's seat as Senior Officers, make dozens of real decisions under time pressure, and live with the results. The final debrief connects every one of those decisions back to the challenge they named at the start, so the insight is about their own work, not a story about a ship.
Does anything change back at work, or is it just a great day?
A High Impact Project follows the experience. Each leader carries a real piece of work that matters to the business, an Accountability Partner, and milestones. The new behavior shows up in the day job, and the leader measures what it was worth. How High Impact Coaching works.
What if we want something outdoors instead?
Save the Titanic runs indoors by design. When your group wants to be outside, start with the outdoor ideas hub and we could match one to the goal you have for the day. Outdoor team building activities.
