WHAT LEVEL IS BEST FOR BRIDGE THE GAP?
This program is about engagement at all levels. It works best when perspectives of a wide variety of positions and levels are considered. Different levels can be grouped together for maximum leverage, or sessions can be split by level.
HOW CAN I USE THIS TO KICK START OUR CULTURE CHANGE?
You need to hear from your team at all levels, and Bridge the Gap allows their voices to be heard. The immersive exercises allow you as a leader to see the challenges and opportunities from their perspective so that you can engage the team in moving forward. That is where the magic happens. Many leaders have been surprised by both the challenges and opportunities that they hear from their team in such an open forum. This is the first step to moving forward.
WHAT IF OUR TEAM HAS A VISION THAT IS NOT ALIGNED WITH THE LEADERSHIP VISION?
When you encourage your team to share their perspective, it may be different than yours. Better to voice that and have a rich discussion to become aligned than to let it bubble beneath the surface unspoken. One of our best sessions was when the leadership team realized their sales team was focused on two different philosophical value propositions to their clients. While our session took a different turn than expected, only by hearing that disconnect could they dig in, come together and move forward. All information shared is valuable.
HOW MANY CAN PARTICIPATE IN BRIDGE THE GAP AT A TIME?
We have run Bridge the Gap for 10-200 participants. Participants work in small groups so it is manageable with larger numbers. Our programs expand by adding additional coaches, so that you can add more participants. The more the merrier.
HOW LONG DOES BRIDGE THE GAP LAST?
1-2 days depending on your desired outcomes and your starting place in terms of values and vision. If creating a vision and values is new for your team, it could easily take 2 days. If you are revisiting the vision or values, we can accomplish great things in a focused day.
WHAT KIND OF SPACE DO WE NEED FOR BRIDGE THE GAP?
You need wall space for group work and wall space to post visions. Participants always make the available space and location work. Bigger rooms are better to allow for more space. Avoid boardrooms– as the table dominates the room and allows very little interaction and flexibility.
CAN BRIDGE THE GAP ACCOMMODATE THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?
Yes. Our team works with you to identify all participant needs and builds accommodations into the program.
